[I introduced a friend of mine to the Hetalia fandom and she soon started rping Greece on another website. The things she told me about it sounded fun and since I used to write stories and fanfictions for other fandoms myself I thought I might give it a shot. The chat didn’t have many characters and then there was the question of what character I should play. Because I wanted to be able to interact with said friend we thought of either Turkey or Egypt (because Mediterranean Trio, etc.) and because I always liked ancient Egypt and all those stories I picked Egypt. From there he developed and we moved to tumblr when the chat started to fall apart.]
Well… it was for a pretty stupid reason. I started in a ring and all other characters of the World Eight had been taken. :’D At that time, I didn’t know much about Hetalia. I’ve only seen the episodes. And as much as I loved Chinese culture, it was a challenge to portray him properly.
With time, though, as I started understanding him better, I grew up to love him more and more and more. And now… this is what you have here.
Russia quickly became my favorite and i made this blog for just reblogging and posting stuff about hetalia, and then suddenly people started talking to ivan as if i was a RP blog. At first i didn’t understand what was going on but i started liking of what i was doing, as if ivan had gained life or something idk. Then i officialy made this as a RP blog and it’s great :)
(My Dutch friend had a Belgium account on twitter, I wanted to roleplay with her so I opened a Netherlands account for her. First I was really nervous. But then I realised that Netherlands (character) and I share lots of characteristic traits. And I’ve always loved characters who has a cold appearance but a kind heart inside. It just makes my heart melt since forever. Netherlands has a different culture and history, it’s a shame that it’s kinda underrated.
But yeah mostly because my personality is kinda similar to Neddie. Kinda.)
